Kutzall tools and special routers and wheels are used for grinding and routing many soft and rigid foam materials. Applications include prototype EPS packaging, prototype automotive seat cushions, foam blanks for surfboard cores, and lost-foam patterns.

Rubberhog Roll Grinding Wheels are your best solution for grinding rubber and other elastomer materials. Applications include: Rubber & Polyurethane Roller Coverings, Lathe-Cut Seals, Specialty Belt Products, Foam Rubber Products.
Rubberhog wheels perform better than simple abrasive wheels or belts because of their unique construction. Rubberhog wheels feature an accurate steel form coated with a layer of very sharp, conical “teeth” made of extremely hard materials.
Rubberhog teeth are arranged to allow fast penetration into the work and unrestricted flow of cuttings away from the wheel. This provides a free-cutting action similar to a milling device, drastically reducing the time required to grind most parts.
Rubberhog wheels can provide a service life as much as hundreds of times that of conventional abrasives. Rubberhog wheels are usually “pre-dressed,” to maintain rapid material removal while producing a good surface finish on the workpiece.

Oliver Corporation produces a very wide variety of custom tools for machining and grinding of non-metallic materials. These range from tiny burr or router-type tools through larger routers and form wheels up to large drum-type wheels and cylindrical grinder wheels of up to 24"/600mm in diameter. Complete machine-shop facilities combined with extensive equipment for applying the wheel coatings provides for fast turn-around and "in-house" quality control.

A new revolutionary design in router bits for tooling plank, ridged foam, and other composite materials.
Custom Kutzall Routers with SSG or MCM coatings are a performance breakthrough for shaping of composite plastic model plank, rigid and flexible foam, and other non-metallic materials. The multitude of small teeth cut smoothly, without “pushing” or battering the material, and last longer than conventional fluted routers and end mills. Most CNC routers for surfboard shaping come equipped with special Kutzall routers.
